CARNAVAL 2019

The largest cultural event in Guinea-Bissau in an event that "officially" lasts a week, we venture to say that it is the best carnival of the continent.

The motto of Carnival-2019 "SAFEGUARD OF THE COLLECTIVE MEMORY", has the following objectives:

1. Give greater emphasis and visibility to the cultural heritage aspect of cultural heritage, one of the key dimensions of social and human well-being, in favor of national unity and the promotion of economic and social development in Guinea-Bissau;

2.Persuild all the country's strong forces, with emphasis on the Government, Civil Society, local communities and Heritage Professionals, in order to trigger feasible actions that are consubstantiated in the taking of urgent measures for the preservation, conservation and safeguarding of our rich and diversified national intangible cultural heritage.
