ACTIVISMS IN AFRICA

Continuing its first edition, the Amílcar Cabral Social Studies Center (Guiné Bissau), in partnership with the Center for International Studies of ISCTE-IUL (Portugal), promotes the 2nd International Activism Conference in Africa on 25, 26 and February 27, 2019, with the objective of following up the reflection on the social movements that operate in the African continent.

The program includes, in addition to presentations of more than three dozen communications from the participants (researchers and activists), 3 conferences of invited researchers, 4 book launches and 3 workshops for social movements. Participation in the event is free, open to the general public and requires no registration, except for workshops that require prior registration via conference mail.
